Ordered the large one and couldn't be happier, now that I have dyed it a darker grey to match my overcoat and made a few minor adjustments. The actual hat appears lighter than in the images. It is sturdy and comfortable, and has no trouble staying on my head. The only details I weren't fond of were the uneven seam on the back of the hat's brim, and a front stitch that holds the ribbon onto the hat-- a keen eye can pick out this stitch from a close distance, but you can remove the single stitch by cutting an exposed string from inside the hat without loosening the entire ribbon, so it's an easy fix. There's nothing I can do about the back seam, however. But aside from that, it looks great and stands out. :)
